Chinese tourism association marks its 20th
anniversary

Chinese International Tourism Association (CITA) President Ms. Jan
Hsiu-Jung celebrating CITA’s 20th Anniversary and her own 60th birthday, posed

The Chinese
International Tourism Association (CITA) will hold an exhibition to mark its
20th anniversary, as well as the 60th birthday of its President in Taipei, July
9.
CITA President
and internationally renowned calligrapher Jan Hsiu-jung was born in Guanxi,
Hsinchu County. She has received countless awards in Japan, Korea, Philippines,
Hong Kong, Canada, and the U.S. and is hailed as a "Woman Calligrapher
Extraordinaire." She was installed as the head of the CITA on Jan. 30, to
instill cultural and innovative energy into the association.
The exhibition
will showcase Jan's calligraphy works and other art pieces, and will be held at
the Dingxian 101 Restaurant at Taipei 101.
The CITA will
integrate Taiwan's tourist hotspots with historical and cultural information
using the latest interactive technology to provide tourists with more
convenient and engaging information.
Ms. Jan Hsiu-Jung and family, on receiving the Asian American and Pacific
Islander Heritage Month Award from U.S. President Barack Obama.
